At over 10 PM, a fire broke out in a plastic goods stall in Thanh Da market. Upon discovering the fire, people tried to put it out but were unsuccessful.
The fire then spread to the adjacent row of kiosks, burning fiercely.
By 10:50 PM, firefighters from the Binh Thanh District fire department and the police of Ward 27 were working to extinguish the fire.
The fire broke out in kiosks located next to Thanh Da Market, which normally sell decorative items, books, newspapers, food, household goods, etc.
Representatives from Ward 27, Binh Thanh District, confirmed the fire. Authorities are currently investigating the cause.
Approximately 50 police officers were deployed to fight the fire.
The fire destroyed many kiosks.
