The fire broke out at around 4:00 p.m. this afternoon (August 20) in an apartment on the 26th floor of a luxury apartment building on Ba Thang Hai Street, Ward 12, District 10, Ho Chi Minh City.

According to initial information, at the time of the fire, the apartment building's alarm bell rang. Hundreds of residents heard the fire alarm and panicked, running down the stairs.

Security guards and technical staff coordinated with residents to quickly approach and control the fire inside the apartment before professional firefighters arrived.

Fortunately, the fire did not cause any human injuries, but some items inside the apartment were damaged.

According to residents, at the time of the fire, someone was living inside the apartment and escaped in time.

Initially, the cause of the fire was determined to be an electrical short circuit in a household appliance.
