2 hectares of forest burned in Tam Nong.

At approximately 9 PM on February 2nd, 2025, a fire broke out on Cang Cua Hill, Zone 20, Van Xuan Commune, Tam Nong District. Immediately after the fire started, the District People's Committee mobilized 150 people, including police forces, the Military Command, and personnel from Van Xuan, Tho Van, and Lam Son communes, to participate in firefighting efforts.

The fire occurred on Càng Cua hill, area 20, Vạn Xuân commune, Tam Nông district.

By approximately 10:15 PM, the fires were completely extinguished. Preliminary estimates indicate that 2 hectares of production forest, including three-year-old acacia trees regenerating after harvesting, acacia planted in 2017, and eucalyptus sprouts, were destroyed.

Currently, Tam Nong district is coordinating with relevant agencies and local authorities to investigate and clarify the cause in order to handle the matter according to the law.
