This morning, regular maintenance management units and the Inspectorate of the Quang Nam Provincial Department of Transport continuously traveled on the DT or QL routes that the central government assigned to the province to manage to grasp the situation. In reality, some points were flooded but vehicles could still pass. Particularly on DT615B route, traffic jams occurred at km15+800 (Tien Lanh commune, Tien Phuoc) due to the water crossing 0.7m deep; regular maintenance units have placed barriers and warning signs to prevent people and vehicles from passing.

Most of the national highways and urban roads from the coast to the highlands have been affected by trees falling due to storms, narrowing the road surface; some spots have caused temporary traffic jams. The Department of Transport Inspectorate and regular maintenance units have urgently trimmed tree branches on urban roads, sawed down trees blocking the road and trees that are no longer able to recover.

On route DT605 (Da Nang - Dien Ban), the unit assigned to regularly maintain the section through Dien Ban town, Linh Suong Construction, Trade and Service Company Limited, noticed many "potholes" appearing. This unit had them "patched" with cold asphalt concrete to ensure traffic and avoid further damage in the prolonged rainy weather.

The storm situation is still complicated, Director of the Department of Transport - Mr. Van Anh Tuan continues to direct maintenance units to pay attention to flooded roads connected to rivers to prepare for appropriate solutions. The Department of Transport Inspectorate is ready to have solutions to ban vehicles and divert traffic when necessary. Relevant units continue to inspect and promptly fix landslides and fallen trees that affect traffic.
