According to Dan Viet reporter's investigation, the creator of these ice cream sticks is Mr. Ly Hai Hoang Tan (from Thua Thien Hue), currently living and working in Hanoi. At his ice cream production facility, Mr. Tan said that the idea of making ice cream with famous tourist destinations in Hanoi came from a trip to China, and he was impressed by the ice cream sticks with the shapes of famous landmarks of this country, so he hatched a plan to make it in Hanoi.

"To have a perfect ice cream with the image of the landmarks, I have to go to each place to observe, come up with design ideas and then mold it. This is the most difficult part when I make ice cream with landmarks," Tan shared.

It takes about 2-4 hours to make a local ice cream.

"Ice cream with local flavors in China is very expensive, about 70,000 VND in Vietnamese currency. This price is not feasible if sold in Vietnam, so I created ice cream with local flavors, suitable for Vietnamese culture, most importantly, the price is reasonable. I sell a piece of ice cream with local flavors for only 20,000 VND," said Mr. Tan.
