Nestled in a small attic, Hai meticulously assembles each component to complete the order. Few people know that the Gen Z guy's custom in-ear headphones are chosen by many famous singers.

23 years old, Luu Huu Hai (commonly known as Luu Hai, from Hai Duong), currently living and working in Hanoi, has built a name for himself in the custom in-ear headphone industry (designed and molded specifically for each person's ear mold).
These high-end headphones are mainly used by singers, stage performers or sound engineers and are often quite expensive.
Unique - strange - separate startup
In 9th grade, Hai was curious to see " K-pop idols " wearing very beautiful headphones when performing on stage. That was the first time Hai heard about custom in-ear headphones.
Curious to explore, Hai encountered a big obstacle because each headphone ordered from abroad was very expensive (from 1,000 - 2,000 USD/piece). Not to mention, the documents written about the structure of the headphones were all in specialized English.
Driven by passion, Hai refused to give up. TheGen Z guy researched technical books about audio and specialized headphone lines on the "super niche" market.

Hai carefully studied every detail and tiny component used in this headset. The more he studied, the more he realized how complicated and "difficult" it was, because the more details there were, the harder it was to make.
After many years of persistent research, the first custom in-ear headphones "made in by Hai" were born and were given to Hai as a gift for himself.
At the age of 18, Hai passed the entrance exam to the University of Technology, Hanoi National University. In the classroom, Hai constantly improved his professional and technical knowledge in the field of audio.
At the age of 19, Hai officially started a unique and strange headphone line called in-ear custom, opening a small research room to unleash his creativity.
From word of mouth to creating a big buzz
After graduating, Hai did not apply for a job but continued to pursue his passion. From a small attic on Vu Thanh Street (Hanoi), Hai and a colleague diligently manufactured headphones according to orders. Their hands meticulously picked up each tiny detail and component.
Choosing to live a private life for many years, few people know that Hai's headphones are chosen by many famous singers, who trust the young man's products.
The headphones designed by Hai are not only beautiful, unique, and strange, but the sound is also highly appreciated by many people.

Hai modestly said that because he loves beauty, he is fascinated and cherishes the "unique" headphones that are made for each person. "The more beautiful I see, the more interested I am, the more it urges me to continue my passion" - Hai said.
Thanks to Hai's introduction, a young female singer came to order. She said that before, she had to order custom in-ear headphones from abroad but the price was very expensive.
"I didn't expect that in Vietnam there would be a young man who could do it. I was very curious and admired" - the female singer said.
Currently, Hai is continuing to research and manufacture bone conduction headphones to effectively support the deaf and hearing impaired. This is also the graduation topic that the Gen Z guy cherished in the lecture hall and was excellently evaluated by the teachers with an A+.
Associate Professor, Dr. Dinh Van Manh - former director of the Institute of Mechanics, Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology - expressed his impression of Hai's topic, because it is a highly applicable topic and has great significance for the hearing impaired.
"We hope Hai continues to pursue his passion, research, develop products and hope he finds like-minded people to make his project a reality," said Mr. Manh.
