On April 13, after settling down at their new base, U.23 Vietnam returned to the training ground to continue final preparations for the 2024 U.23 Asian Cup finals.
In an interview before the training session, striker Bui Vi Hao said that the coaching staff is focusing on the team working together more smoothly. When there is an opportunity, the players need to boldly shoot to find goals and aim for victory.
Notably, Vi Hao is the highest-valued player of U.23 Vietnam according to Transfermarkt , with a price of 200,000 euros (about 5.3 billion VND). The striker born in 2003 is a mainstay of Binh Duong Club playing in V-League.

"After the recent period, I have also learned a lesson for myself about being confident, but not being hasty and having to take advantage of every opportunity in front of the goal. The first two opponents are U.23 Kuwait and U.23 Malaysia, I think they are on par with U.23 Vietnam. The whole team is in high spirits, determined to give their best performance to get favorable results in the first two matches," said Vi Hao.
Bui Vi Hao also shared that U.23 Vietnam does not feel pressured. "The goal set by the coaching staff is suitable for the team. The whole team is ready to enter the tournament," Vi Hao emphasized.
According to AFC's arrangement, U.23 Vietnam has moved to practice at Al Erssal Stadium, located less than 10 minutes by bus from the team's hotel.
The training ground has the same structure and quality as the Qatar University training ground where the team has been training in recent days. Therefore, the players did not encounter any obstacles in adapting to the new training environment.

At the training session, Coach Hoang Anh Tuan continued to strengthen the playing style he is applying to U.23 Vietnam, but with higher requirements for his players.
There is only one day left until Coach Hoang Anh Tuan makes the final decision on the official list of 23 players participating in the 2024 AFC U23 Championship finals, so all players are trying their best to show their full potential. The training session also has a positive competitive atmosphere.
According to the schedule, on the morning of April 14, the team will have a meeting with the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) to grasp the main regulations of the tournament as well as important contents of the competition rules.
Also tomorrow morning, team leader Doan Anh Tuan and some assistants will attend a technical meeting before the group stage. According to information from AFC, VAR technology will be applied in matches at the 2024 AFC U23 Championship finals.
