In "Cello sings love songs", cellist Ha Mien brings the audience beautiful, sweet sounds that evoke many emotions about the past years.
These are "Homeland" by musician Luu Cau, the Preludes by artist Nguyen Huu Tuan (often known by another name, "Childhood Memories"), and especially the work that is still jokingly called "the most listened to cello piece in Vietnam", "Return to Motherland" by musician Nguyen Van Thuong.
Besides that, there are the melodious melodies of "Blue Eyes" (Ngo Thuy Mien), "When My Lover Cryes" (Tran Thien Thanh), "Love Each Other on a Rainy Day" (Nguyen Trung Cang), "The Girl from Yesterday" (Tran Le Quynh), "Hanoi 12 Seasons of Flowers" (Giang Son)...
Along with Ha Mien's guitar, the music night featured the voices of two singers with lyrical and classical styles, Nguyen Tuan Anh and Thang Long, creating an extremely interesting combination when performing immortal love songs. The music night "Cello sings love songs" was even more attractive with the participation of violinist Trinh Minh Hien, pianist Bui Dang Khanh and saxophone artist Duy Manh.
Before the concert "Cello sings love songs", Ha Mien released the album "Mien - when cello sings" including 8 songs adapted from famous Vietnamese songs from the 1960s to the 1990s.
