Immediately after the Vietnamese team won against Singapore in the second leg of the AFF Cup 2024 semi-final, many fans decided to book tickets to Thailand early to watch the second leg of the final. The "heat" of this match increased when Vietnam beat Thailand 2-1 at Viet Tri Stadium.

However, Vietnamese fans need to be especially careful when going to Thailand to watch football. Currently, fake tickets are becoming more common. Some home fans have also been tricked into buying tickets at prices twice as high as the listed price of the Football Association of Thailand (FAT).

The receptionist at the hotel where the VTC News reporter stayed said: " Tell Vietnamese fans to find a reputable and accurate ticket source. Don't rush to trust people who advertise tickets on social networks, they can completely give you fake tickets ."

According to research, tickets for the second leg of the AFF Cup 2024 final have 4 different prices. The lowest class ticket, originally priced at 250 Baht, is being offered at 600 Baht (420,000 VND/ticket). The 300 Baht class ticket is being offered at 700 Baht (equivalent to 510,000 VND/ticket). Meanwhile, the 2nd class ticket, priced at 400 Baht, is being offered at 900 Baht (670,000 VND/ticket). The 500 Baht class ticket is being offered at 1,500-2,000 Baht (equivalent to 1.5 million VND/ticket).

47,000 tickets at Rajamangala Stadium were sold out in just 2 hours. Thai people have high hopes for Suphanat and his teammates to turn the tables. However, not everyone is confident in the dream scenario that Thailand can win by 2 goals.

Football expert Buranich Ratanavichien said: " The Thai team coming to Vietnam is not the strongest squad and is not in the best physical condition. I don't think the Thai team played poorly. At least, we still controlled the ball. The home team did not create much pressure.

After the first half ended 0-0, if there were no mistakes, the Thai team could have drawn. However, the players made mistakes. The second goal was a big mistake. He (Chalermsak Aukkee) went up like that and took risks. He shouldn't have done that."

The second leg of the 2024 AFF Cup final will take place at 8:00 p.m. on January 5.
