But in terms of the noble spirit of sportsmanship in football, it is really shameful," commented the Philippine account Akrp Wps on the Asean United FC page after striker Supachok's goal was honored as the most beautiful goal in the second leg of the AFF Cup 2024 final on January 5 at Rajamangla Stadium (Thailand).

Accordingly, after two days of online voting on the AFF Cup homepage, the title of best goal in the second leg of the AFF Cup final belonged to striker Supachok Sarachat.
The Thai striker was the winner with 85.39% of the 46,482 votes. Midfielder Nguyen Hai Long ranked second with 12.12%. Next was striker Pham Tuan Hai (2.22%) and finally Ben Davis (0.25%).
However, after the second leg of the final, many fans in Southeast Asia criticized Supachok's very ugly goal. Because it was a situation where goalkeeper Dinh Trieu threw the ball out of the field when he saw his teammate lying on the field in pain.
However, instead of returning the ball to the Vietnamese team, striker Supachok shot straight into the net, leaving coach Kim Sang Sik and his team stunned.
Therefore, when Supachok's goal was voted the best goal after the second leg of the AFF Cup 2024 final, many Southeast Asian fans continued to think that this was a shameful title for the Thai striker.

"Supachok's goal was very ugly, it cannot be considered a beautiful goal," Vira Btb account declared.
"Dirty goal and the result is a loss. Karma comes immediately. Justice will prevail and God always has eyes," account Ks Rawat also expressed.
"If Supachok's explanation that he did not know that goalkeeper Dinh Trieu had thrown the ball out of bounds was true, then we cannot blame him. He tried his best and was determined to score for the Thai team.
"Can't blame him," Thai account Teetach Tanakritkajornkul defended.
"On behalf of the majority of Vietnamese people, I would like to vote for Supachok's goal as the most beautiful goal of the tournament. Please give him a commemorative medal so that he will have an unforgettable memory throughout his life," Vietnam's Le Hieu account concluded.
