The program brings stories, tragic and emotional memories of historical witnesses in the General Offensive and Uprising in Spring 1975, culminating in the Ho Chi Minh Campaign - one of the most glorious victories in the history of thousands of years of building and defending the country of the Vietnamese people, ending 21 years of long and arduous war. The content of the program affirms the correct leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam and President Ho Chi Minh, the pinnacle of development of Vietnamese military art.

In particular, the art night also combines 3D mapping light shows, lasers, smoke, fireworks, graphic projections... to visualize and artisticize historical information, helping historical stories and memories become easier to understand and accessible to a wide range of audiences, especially the young.

At the bridges, there were also exchanges with heroic Vietnamese mothers, historical witnesses sharing heroic moments in the courageous days. At the bridge of the Reunification Hall, Colonel, Hero of the People's Armed Forces Tu De shared: “My father and I both participated in the Ho Chi Minh Campaign. My father was then Deputy Director of the Quartermaster Department, General Department of Logistics, participating in supporting the logistics work for the campaign. At that time, I was a pilot in the Quyet Thang squadron. We were ordered by our superiors to absolutely not drop bombs on the runway, with the desire to send the enemy the message "you should return to your homeland and give us back peace". After completing the mission, I flew another round in the sky of Saigon, although the enemy's artillery shells were fired a lot, but at that time, to me, it was fireworks welcoming the approaching victory day. And when my father and I met again in the joy of national reunification, my father told me, "Peace! Let's go home, mom is waiting!

As one of the war correspondents who followed the troops advancing to Saigon, journalist Tran Mai Huong (Former General Director of Vietnam News Agency) recalled: “That was the day that the entire nation had been waiting for for a long time. On the way, we followed the troops advancing to liberate Saigon, and in some places, people rushed out into the streets to welcome us. When we arrived at the Independence Palace, we saw a German journalist throwing his camera into the sky, celebrating the victory with us.”

And echoing in the triumphant song of the nation, the words of gratitude to the generation of those who fell to create the shape of the Fatherland today remain forever in the hearts of every generation of Vietnamese people. Veteran Nguyen Ngoc Quy (Tank soldier 846, Tank Brigade 203, Corps 2, Liberation Army, 1975) recalls with emotion about his comrades: “I was the number 2 gunner, so when fighting, through the tank's sight, I could observe all the developments outside. And I can never forget the infantrymen, whose faces and names I did not know, fighting to support the tanks to advance. I was sitting in the tank, with the tank covering me, they were outside, some of them sacrificed right before my eyes, blood splashed into the sight, I saw it but could do nothing, it was so painful, inside me was even more determined to fight to end the war soon, for the country to have peace”.
