Accordingly, "The Epic of Peace " is one of the large-scale political and artistic exchange programs held on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification.
The program was implemented by the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee, Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee in coordination with the Military Radio and Television Center, Viettel Media Company, Ho Chi Minh City Television Station and Dak Lak Provincial Radio and Television Station, with close coordination of Military Region 5, Military Region 7 and agencies and units inside and outside the army.
The TV show "Peace Epic" took place from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on April 5, broadcast live on Vietnam National Defense Television (QPVN), HTV1 - Ho Chi Minh City Television, DRT - Dak Lak Radio and Television, local television channels and on digital platforms.
At the program's connecting points, there will be the participation of leaders of the Party, State, Government, National Assembly; leaders and representatives of central and local departments, ministries and branches; leaders of the Central Military Commission, Ministry of National Defense; Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, Heroes of the People's Armed Forces, veterans, historical witnesses and many representatives of all walks of life.
The program "Epic of Peace" was held at 3 locations: Hanoi (Studio of the Military Radio and Television Center); Ho Chi Minh City (Reunification Hall) and Dak Lak province (Buon Ma Thuot Victory Monument).
The program "Epic of Peace" is built on a large scale, elaborate in content and art, emotionally and realistically recreating the 21-year journey of hardship, sacrifice but extremely heroic of the Vietnamese people, a journey like a tragic and glorious epic in which the General Offensive and Uprising of Spring 1975 is the most beautiful and brilliant chapter.
The program features performances by many famous singers and artists inside and outside the military. Along with that, the program also brings stories, tragic memories, rich in emotions of historical witnesses in the General Offensive and Uprising in Spring 1975, culminating in the Ho Chi Minh Campaign - one of the greatest and most glorious victories in the history of thousands of years of building and defending the country of the Vietnamese people, ending 21 years of long and arduous war.
The content of the program affirms the correct leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam and President Ho Chi Minh, the pinnacle of development of Vietnamese military art. It is also the victory of Vietnamese mettle and intelligence - a shining symbol of the strength of great national unity and the spirit of impartial and pure international solidarity; the victory of the strength of Vietnamese people's war in the Ho Chi Minh era.
