Iron bridge in Lam Dong collapsed when truck passed over

When a truck driver crossed an iron bridge in Lam Dong, the bridge collapsed, the truck overturned into a stream, affecting hundreds of households.

Initial information, at around 9:00 a.m. on April 10, a fertilizer truck with license plate 49C-049.52, driven by Dang Tuan Duy, residing in Loc Chau commune, Bao Loc city, was traveling from the garden of village 4 to Da Hang Lang hamlet, Loc Phu commune.

When arriving at the community bridge over Da R'Klach stream, although the bridge was small, narrow and degraded, the driver still drove the truck across the bridge. When the truck had just reached the bridge abutment, the bridge collapsed, and the truck overturned into the stream.

Fortunately, the bridge collapse did not cause any casualties.

Upon receiving the report, the Loc Phu Commune Police coordinated with Lam Dong Provincial Police to record the scene and investigate the incident.

The iron bridge across Da R'Klach stream is 10m long and more than 3m wide. This is the only bridge serving about 60 ethnic minority households in Da Hang Lang village and hundreds of households traveling and transporting goods and agricultural products to the production area.
