Ha Long Carnival 2025 is a convergence of intangible cultural heritages from three regions of the country.

At the press conference on the afternoon of April 10, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Son - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Long City (Quang Ninh Province) emphasized: "Ha Long Carnival 2025 is not only an annual festival, but also a cultural event of new stature, affirming the position of Ha Long - Quang Ninh on the Vietnam festival tourism map. For the first time, Carnival has become a place where unique intangible cultural heritages from three regions of the country converge, such as Binh Lieu Then singing, Hue royal court music, Central Highlands gongs, Southern amateur music... All are expressed in a lively, accessible and extremely impressive contemporary artistic language."

According to information from the press conference, the Ha Long Carnival 2025 stage is magnificently staged with the majestic rock mountain symbol combined with modern lighting effects and vivid art models, along with a 15,000-seat grandstand appearing for the first time. This year's Carnival is invested in a systematic manner, with comprehensive innovation in content and form of expression, imbued with the spirit of integration and modernity while still honoring the depth of traditional culture.

Ha Long City People's Committee has completed the preparation of facilities, program scripts, arranged a 15,000-seat grandstand and implemented plans to ensure security and order, environmental sanitation, food safety, disease prevention... ready to welcome people and tourists from all over the world.

With its grand scale, attractive content and elaborate investment, Carnaval Ha Long 2025 is expected to be a strong boost for tourism in Ha Long - Quang Ninh this summer.

Besides the Carnaval, Ha Long city also organizes a series of exciting activities during the April 30 - May 1 holiday such as: Duc Ong Tran Quoc Nghien Temple Festival, Taekwondo Championship for all age groups, Pickleball Tournament for the first time in Ha Long, Badminton Tournament for all age groups, Open Dragon and Lion Dance Festival, Ha Long Beer - Squid Cake Festival...

Thereby, contributing to realizing the goal of welcoming 20 million tourists in 2025 of Quang Ninh province, while affirming its position as the leading festival tourism center in Vietnam.

The Ha Long Carnival 2025 program consists of 4 main parts: The opening is the opening art program with three special chapters "Ha Long heritage, brilliant wonders", "Quang Ninh - heritage in the heart of Heritage" and "Integration of five continents, pioneering the shine". The central stage is designed to simulate the majestic Ha Long rocky mountains, applying 3D mapping projection technology, laser lighting and a system of 10 high-capacity projectors from the US and Belgium - appearing for the first time at Ha Long Carnival, creating a spectacular visual experience. Next is the Carnaval Grand Ball - a colorful parade with the participation of 5 art model cars and hundreds of artists and actors in costumes imbued with the spirit of international festivals. Visitors will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the vibrant street atmosphere, imbued with the Carnaval spirit, interact directly with the parade, and live fully in the open festival space. Part three is a youthful electronic music festival with the participation of famous artists such as People's Artist Thuy Huong, Meritorious Artist Hoang Tung, Pham Quynh Anh, Dong Hung... on a large open stage. In particular, this year's Carnaval marks a unique combination of modern music and traditional art - a different and completely new highlight. Closing the festival is a high-altitude fireworks display that lights up the sky of Ha Long, bringing a perfect ending to a brilliant and emotional festival.
