92-year-old couple reveals secret to keeping marriage lasting, many people laugh

Bob and Lucille Alloca, both 92, of Sarasota, Florida, recently celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary. It was a journey filled with love and memories.

When asked about their first meeting, the man could clearly remember their first date. However, the woman could not. The couple’s contrasting answers brought warm laughter from friends and family.

Their love story began during their teenage years in Brooklyn. Bob played soccer and Lucille and her friends often went to watch the games.

"When we were kids, we had a lot of fun. We used to borrow Bob's dad's car and go down to Rockaway Beach Park on the weekends," Lucille shared.

Earlier this month, the couple were thrown a surprise party by their seniors community to celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary, complete with birthday cake, balloons and entertainment.

The atmosphere at the party was filled with joy as they shared memories and secrets to a long-lasting marriage. "There are no secrets," she affirmed. "You just have to put up with each other, seriously."

Meanwhile, the old man joked: "Every morning, I have to practice saying yes, honey."

The couple traveled the world together. They are proud of their five children, along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Lucille always stressed the importance of being patient and listening to each other. "You have to endure a lot. There are ups and downs and there will be times when you get hurt, but there are also many happy moments," she said.

According to the couple, love is the key not only to a lasting marriage, but also to a long life. "Don't worry about money. Worry about being together and loving each other, everything will be fine," Bob affirmed.
