Media agencies should increase the coverage and broadcasting of messages, reports, propaganda bulletins, and dissemination of the Prime Minister's directives and legal documents on the conservation of wild and migratory birds in Vietnam. Officials, civil servants, workers, and citizens should not participate in hunting, capturing, buying, selling, transporting, slaughtering, consuming, storing, or advertising wild and migratory birds illegally; and should not buy individual birds to release them because this is an act of assisting in illegal hunting and trapping of wild birds.
Law enforcement agencies such as forest rangers, customs, market management, and police should strengthen inter-sectoral coordination to regularly inspect and examine restaurants, businesses, wild bird markets, key areas, and ringleaders of hunting, capturing, trading, transporting, and consuming wild and migratory birds.
Law enforcement agencies shall strictly handle acts of illegal hunting, shooting, trapping, capturing, slaughtering, transporting, trading, processing, and storing of wild and migratory birds; and implement measures to prevent diseases originating from wild and migratory birds.
