The Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon expressway construction site is filled with the sound of machinery, dozens of construction teams are speeding up their shifts, and production is increasing day by day after Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh's inspection visit.
The 88km Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon Expressway passes through the two provinces of Quang Ngai and Binh Dinh with an investment capital of about 20,400 billion VND. After more than 2 years of construction, the construction progress reached 7,300/13,343 billion VND of construction capital, disbursed nearly 8,900 billion VND.
After Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh's on-site inspection of the project, the project's construction work was accelerated by Deo Ca Group and the joint venture contractor. The entire construction site was filled with the sound of machinery with 50 construction teams working 24/7.
The main road embankment work has reached over 95%, completed drainage works, civil underpass; and 12km of crushed stone construction. The contractor representative said that for the completed K98 embankment sections, the unit is speeding up the construction of the aggregate, ready to lay asphalt to complete the roadbed in 2025.
Crushed stone mix is fully prepared so the supply for the project is stable.
Crushed stone is poured and leveled, then the roller team takes over the construction site to compact the roadbed.
Along the route, there are 77 large and small bridges of all types. Up to now, all 77 bridges have completed construction of piers and piers, and 50 bridges are installing girders.
The Song Ve bridge alone, over 600m long, the largest on the route, has been basically completed, ensuring the movement and transfer of equipment and machinery back and forth.
After the Tet holiday, the project site returned to the 3-shift, 4-shift construction rhythm. Workers returned to their previous work routine. Teams took turns working with the determination to complete the project in 2025 as directed by the Prime Minister.
The project's critical path is the system of 3 tunnels through the mountain. Up to now, both tunnels 1 and 2 have been basically completed. Tunnel 3 alone has dug 5,000/6,400m for both tubes, and nearly 1,700m of concrete lining...
As the tunnel drilling progresses, Deo Ca contractor will install an iron dome and spray mortar to reinforce the tunnel lining to ensure the safety of the project and also as a rolling construction solution to ensure completion of the project in 2025.
Mr. Ngo Truong Nam, General Director of Deo Ca Group Joint Stock Company, said that after the Tet holiday, the group's leaders immediately instructed the project construction work to begin. At the project site, nearly 4,000 employees and 1,500 locomotives and equipment have "returned to work". We are speeding up construction to ensure the project is completed in 2025 as directed by the Prime Minister on February 9.
