In Hoa Minzy's MV Bac Bling , in addition to the catchy music and performance by artist Xuan Hinh, the scene with 300 people appearing is also a highlight.
It is known that Hoa Minzy's MV was filmed in 3 days.
To prepare carefully for each extra, stylist Khuc Manh Quan and his colleagues had to calculate carefully and work continuously. "My team has a total of 6 people, preparing more than 300 costumes for the MV. If we count the press conference, the number is more than 500 sets. With such a large number, I could not rent from one or two stores, but the whole team had to spend more than a week searching and collecting the items. All the costumes were contained in three or four sacks. We had to rent a private car to transport those sacks of clothes to Bac Ninh, gathering them at each filming location," Khuc Manh Quan said.

To help Hoa Minzy save money, some costumes were brought up first by the stylist and crew. Then, the costumes for the last day of filming were transported up later. Most of them were quilted jackets by designer Quyen Nguyen and had a total value of hundreds of millions of VND. Because these items were of relatively high value, Khuc Manh Quan had to check them carefully to ensure safety. The actors were allowed to change their costumes 15 minutes before filming.
Hoa Minzy's outfit was also meticulously taken care of by the stylist from Hanoi.
Although he has experience in music and television projects, this is the first time Khuc Manh Quan has prepared clothes for the elderly, so he faces a lot of pressure. "Each elderly person has a different body shape and we have to prepare each outfit for each person. From the velvet scarf, the pair of earrings, each quilted shirt, the four-panel dress... everything must be carefully selected to suit each elderly person. The elderly are also very meticulous, the younger generation like us must be very careful, especially with costumes that carry traditional cultural elements such as the four-panel dress, we must seriously research and choose carefully," he confided.
In addition, Khuc Manh Quan considered how to ensure Hoa Minzy's costumes are of good quality, look good on camera, and still be within the allowed budget. Therefore, he bought from Vietnamese brands or rented from performance costume companies. For the velvet scarves and turbans of the elders, he went to craft villages in Ha Dong.
After many collaborations with Hoa Minzy, Khuc Manh Quan said he was impressed by the professionalism and dedication of the female singer. Hoa Minzy invested in every little detail of all products before releasing them. Despite filming until morning for 3 consecutive days, the female singer born in 1995 did not complain and always kept a cheerful spirit with everyone.
