Police quickly extinguished the solvent storage fire at noon.

Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Binh Dinh Province dispatched 10 fire trucks, 2 command vehicles, and 100 officers and soldiers to the scene to put out the fire. Binh Dinh Petroleum Company also dispatched 2 fire trucks to the scene to assist.

The fire was accompanied by many loud explosions and smoke columns rising tens of meters high.

Firefighters controlled the fire.

The house and solvent storage area were completely burned down, the corrugated iron roof collapsed, and the fence was cracked.

Because the house contained a lot of solvents used to mix PU paint for wooden furniture and many flammable objects, the fire broke out quickly and spread. People living near the area where the fire broke out said that when they discovered the fire, the fire broke out very quickly, followed by many loud explosions and a strong chemical smell.

The fire area is located near many high-rise buildings. Authorities quickly deployed water sprays to isolate the fire and prevent it from spreading to neighboring buildings. By about 12:45 p.m. the same day, the fire was basically under control.

The fire did not cause any casualties. However, the house and the solvent storage area were completely burned down, the corrugated iron roof collapsed, and the fence was cracked.

The cause of the fire is being further investigated and clarified by the authorities of Binh Dinh province.
