A fire broke out in a bread shop on the first floor of a house on Hong Mai Street (Hanoi), trapping three people on the second floor. Police rushed to rescue the victims.
On the morning of December 5, Hanoi City Police said that the authorities promptly extinguished the house fire and rescued 3 people.
Previously, at around 7:50 p.m. on December 4, Hai Ba Trung District Police received a fire report at house number 4, Hong Mai Street, Truong Dinh Ward.
The unit immediately directed the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team to dispatch 2 fire trucks, coordinate with 1 vehicle from Hoang Mai District Police to support with Truong Dinh Ward Police and local forces to the scene to handle the fire.

At the scene, police discovered 3 people trapped on the 2nd floor of the house, so they used a ladder to quickly rescue the 3 victims safely.
Fire fighting was carried out urgently, after about 5 minutes the fire was extinguished.
According to authorities, the fire started in the bread selling area on the first floor. The house has an area of 72 square meters, 5 floors high, with 2 frontages at 4 Hong Mai and 425 Bach Mai.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
