The Ministry of Finance recommends that people and businesses be vigilant against forgeries and abuse of the Ministry of Finance's name to defraud people for personal gain.

People and businesses should be vigilant and cautious when transferring money to strangers on the Internet. When detecting signs of fraud, people and businesses should report to the authorities to avoid possible unfortunate losses.

Currently, the Ministry of Finance is coordinating and requesting competent authorities to clarify acts of forging documents, signatures, and seals of leaders of the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Finance.

Previously, on March 31, 2025, the Ministry of Finance warned about a Facebook page named "Receiving and processing recovery and refunding rreo capital" using the image and information of the Ministry of Finance, claiming to be a representative of the Ministry of Finance "recovering money" for victims of online fraud. The Ministry of Finance affirmed that this is a fake Facebook page of the Ministry of Finance.
