In order to be proactive in monitoring and operating the system, promptly grasping cases of possible system or equipment problems, Quang Tri Power Company (PC Quang Tri) cooperated with the Central Power Electronic Measuring Equipment Manufacturing Center (CPCEMEC) to develop a program "warning of remote measurement data, increasing the collection rate and improving the reliability of remote measurement data collection". The program was tested in June 2023 and by July 2023 was officially put into use on the remote measurement system of PC Quang Tri.

Accordingly, the program is set to automatically warn in cases such as meters with broken RTC sets and give warnings for meters with data collection time deviations from real time; warn of a list of meters with RF signals but not enough measurement data to merge bills (index sets) due to weak RF signals; detect and send warnings for a list of broken meters on the RFSpider system; detect and warn of missing measurement point data in the collection and synchronization of remote measurement data between RF-Spider and DSPM; warn of a list of meters with duplicate data when declaring remote measurement exploitation; monitor and analyze data collected by session on the RF-Spider system; warn of missing reading session data due to program/operation errors...
According to the process, the system will automatically create a warning list for cases where the meter lacks measurement point data, duplicates remote measurement data, warns of cases where there is data but the warning is offline on the system, and warns of stations with unstable collection rates to the operation warning program.
Every day, technical staff will check the program's list of warning cases. From there, coordinate with affiliated units to check system and field data, verify the status of the warned data and propose solutions to handle and fix it. In addition, for unusual incidents in the telemetry system, the program will analyze and send immediate warnings to technical staff.
Director of Vinh Linh Electricity Phan Thanh Vinh said that putting the remote measuring devices into operation helps Vinh Linh Electricity proactively check data, load parameters, and switching devices on the grid; quickly analyze and propose solutions to ensure stable and continuous power supply, ensure the reliability of power supply for customers in the area, and promptly fix problems related to the grid.
Currently, Vinh Linh Electricity has deployed the installation of 100% of electronic meters for customers in the district and is measured remotely via RF, 4G waves. Through the RF-Spider and DSPM programs, the unit and customers can monitor the meter index closing work of the electricity industry in a timely, fast and transparent manner.
Through the application "EVNCPC CSKH" of the Central Power Corporation, it helps customers conveniently look up electricity usage in real time, thereby using electricity safely, economically and effectively.
Since the remote measurement data warning system was put into operation, the electricity industry has been proactive in receiving information from the remote measurement system, ensuring stability in collecting remote measurement data. Thereby improving the quality of service for electricity customers.
The program “Remote measurement data warning increases collection rate and improves reliability in remote measurement data collection” helps technical management staff update information on the operating status of data and remote measurement programs continuously; provide timely solutions for checking and processing programs and data quickly; at the same time, bring efficiency in management and customer care by shortening the time to check programs and customer data, ensuring stable collection of customer meter data, avoiding data collection interruptions.
The DSPMRF-Spider remote measurement system has brought great benefits to production and business activities, especially in recording indexes, combining customer bills at the unit or in checking and monitoring electricity trading.
Obviously, the application of the program contributes to improving work efficiency, improving the operation and program inspection methods of the electricity industry's remote measurement system management staff, making an important contribution to digital transformation and improving production and business efficiency. Thereby, it affirms that PC Quang Tri always pursues the goal of improving customer service quality and constantly striving to become a digital enterprise.
