This impressive result is thanks to a series of solutions that Ba Ria - Vung Tau province has implemented, making breakthroughs in developing seaports and logistics services towards sustainable development. Ba Ria - Vung Tau province has proactively invested in infrastructure, improved transportation capacity, optimized operational processes; promoted strengths, aimed for a sustainable future and continued to be an important hub in the international logistics network.

In particular, in 2024, the Vung Tau - Cai Mep shipping channel was upgraded and dredged to a depth of minus 15.5m, meeting the needs of many large shipping lines in the world.
