According to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, the Natural Science exam has 3 components (Physics, Chemistry, Biology); the Social Science exam for candidates studying the high school education program has 3 components (History, Geography, Civic Education). For candidates studying the high school continuing education program, the Social Science exam has 2 components (History, Geography).

For candidates starting to take the second component exam or the third component exam of the combined exam, candidates must be present in the exam room 10 minutes before the exam paper is distributed. If they arrive 15 minutes early, they must go to the waiting room to take the exam.

Candidates who have completed their registered exam for the first or second subject in the combined exam must return to the waiting room to finish the exam. Candidates must wait until the end of the exam time for the last subject before leaving the exam site.

Vu Thuy Dung, a 12th grader at Phan Van Tri High School (Can Tho City), said she was ready for the Natural Science exam. "I got a good score in Literature and Basic Math. Last night I reviewed my notes and my parents reminded me to go to bed early to prepare for the Natural Science and English exam this afternoon...", Thuy Dung said.

Taking the social subjects exam, Tran Thi Huyen, a 12th grader at Chau Van Liem School, confided: “Today, I have two main subjects for university admission, History and Geography, so I suddenly feel nervous and anxious. I am most afraid of getting the easy questions, the recognition questions, wrong, rather than the application questions. The teacher told me to read the questions carefully, avoid doing them quickly or carelessly. Therefore, I will be most careful in every answer.”

According to Mr. Tran Thanh Binh, Director of the Department of Education and Training of Can Tho City: On today's exam day, the work of ensuring security and order inside and outside the exam sites; the force protecting the exam papers and exam papers continues to be tightened. Volunteer activities to support and assist candidates are still effectively implemented by volunteer forces, helping candidates reduce pressure throughout the exam period.

In addition to disseminating the regulations to students, Can Tho province also issued a separate guide for candidates and supervisors to grasp the regulations on preventing and combating cheating in exams, the items candidates are allowed to bring into the exam room, and remind candidates of the items that are not allowed to be brought into the exam room. During the exam, the Council thoroughly informed the exam supervisors to strictly implement the regulations, ensuring that 100% of the exam supervisors strictly followed the regulations, had appropriate attitudes and behaviors, and did not cause stress to the candidates.
