After 10 years of implementing Resolution No. 25-NQ/TW, Can Loc district (Ha Tinh province) has built 978 "effective mass mobilization" models, promoting the strength of the great national unity in local socio-economic development.
On the morning of August 18th, the Can Loc District Party Committee held a conference to summarize 10 years of implementing Resolution No. 25-NQ/TW on “strengthening and renewing the Party's leadership over mass mobilization work in the new situation” (Resolution 25); and to review 5 years of implementing Directive No. 21-CT/TW of the XII Party Central Committee on continuing to promote women's work in the new situation (Directive 21). Leaders from the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department, the Provincial Women's Union, and the working group from the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee for guidance, inspection, and supervision in Can Loc attended the conference. |
Over the past 10 years, implementing Resolution 25-NQ/TW, Can Loc district has leveraged the strength of national unity in participating in economic, cultural, and social development, ensuring political stability, and maintaining social order and security.
Ms. Bui Thi Kieu Nhi, Head of the District Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department and Chairwoman of the Can Loc District Fatherland Front Committee, presented a report summarizing 10 years of implementing Resolution 25.
Party building in terms of politics, ideology, organization, and personnel; grasping the situation; and resolving legitimate grievances and requests of the people have been consolidated and strengthened. The mass mobilization work of state agencies and governments at all levels has been reformed. The activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and other political and social organizations are increasingly diverse in content and form. Patriotic emulation movements, linked with the movement for skillful mass mobilization, and the development and replication of models and exemplary practices in mass mobilization work, have spread widely.
From 2013 to the present, the entire district has had 978 recognized "effective mass mobilization" models across all areas of social life. The work of promoting, highlighting, and replicating good examples, organizations, and individuals who excel in mass mobilization work, as well as exemplary models in patriotic emulation movements, has been intensified.
From 2019 to the present, the entire district has built 451 houses with a total cost of over 22 billion VND, donated 68,893 gifts worth over 30.2 billion VND to support flood victims, give gifts during the Lunar New Year, support policy beneficiary families and children in difficult circumstances; and supported 216 livelihood models.
The organization, structure, and staff of the Mass Mobilization Department, the Fatherland Front, and other political and social organizations have been strengthened, streamlined, and made more effective and efficient.
Regarding Directive 21, after 5 years of implementation, the awareness, responsibility, and actions of Party committees, government agencies, and the entire political system in Can Loc concerning the role and position of women and women's work in the new situation have undergone many positive changes. Gender equality in the political, economic, cultural, and social fields has achieved positive results. The number and quality of female leaders and managers in agencies, units, and businesses have increased, and the status of women in the family and society is increasingly affirmed and enhanced. Women's Union organizations at all levels are increasingly strengthened and developed; the role of the Women's Union in caring for and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of its members is being promoted, creating opportunities for women to develop their intellect and demonstrate their abilities. |
Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department, Nguyen Hai Nam, delivered a speech at the conference.
At the conference, many opinions were discussed, lessons learned were drawn, and tasks and solutions were proposed to continue effectively implementing Resolution 25 and Directive 21.
Secretary of the Can Loc District Party Committee, Nghiem Sy Dong, concluded the meeting.
Concluding the conference, District Party Secretary Nghiem Sy Dong requested continued effective implementation of resolutions on mass mobilization work, ensuring that the resolutions are truly put into practice; focusing on issues related to people's lives; strengthening dialogue and promptly resolving difficulties at the grassroots level; paying attention to building strong and cohesive Party organizations and socio-political organizations; and ensuring that mass mobilization work is closely linked to the local political tasks.
Regarding Directive No. 21, in the coming period, women's associations at all levels will continue to organize movements effectively; inspire the spirit and aspirations of women; pay attention to training and improving the quality of female cadres to meet the requirements of the tasks; and constantly innovate methods of operation.
