Can Loc builds nearly 1,000 "smart mass mobilization" models

After 10 years of implementing Resolution No. 25-NQ/TW, Can Loc district (Ha Tinh) has built 978 "skillful mass mobilization" models, promoting the strength of the great national solidarity bloc in local socio-economic development.

On the morning of August 18, Can Loc District Party Committee held a conference to review 10 years of implementing Resolution No. 25-NQ/TW on "strengthening and innovating the Party's leadership over mass mobilization work in the new situation" (Resolution 25); and to review 5 years of implementing Directive No. 21-CT/TW of the Secretariat of the 12th Party Central Committee on continuing to promote women's work in the new situation (Directive 21).

Leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, the Provincial Women's Union and the working delegation for direction, inspection and supervision of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee in Can Loc attended the conference.

Over the past 10 years, implementing Resolution 25-NQ/TW, Can Loc district has promoted the strength of the great national unity bloc in participating in economic, cultural and social development, ensuring political stability, maintaining social order and security.

Head of the District Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee - Chairwoman of the Can Loc District Fatherland Front Committee Bui Thi Kieu Nhi reported on the summary of 10 years of implementing Resolution 25.

The work of building the Party in terms of politics, ideology, organization, and personnel, grasping the situation, and resolving the people's legitimate concerns and recommendations has been consolidated and enhanced. The mass mobilization work of state agencies and authorities at all levels has been innovated. The activities of the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations have become increasingly diverse in content and form. Patriotic emulation movements have been associated with skillful mass mobilization emulation movements, building and replicating models and typical examples of mass mobilization work, and have been widely disseminated.

From 2013 to now, the whole district has had 978 models of "skillful mass mobilization" in all areas of social life recognized. The work of propaganda, setting examples, spreading good people, good deeds, organizations and individuals who do well in mass mobilization work, models and typical examples in patriotic emulation movements has been promoted.

From 2019 to now, the whole district has built 451 houses with a total cost of over 22 billion VND, donated 68,893 gifts worth over 30.2 billion VND to support flood victims, give gifts on the occasion of Lunar New Year, policy families and children in difficult circumstances; supported 216 livelihood models.

The organization, apparatus, cadres and civil servants of the Mass Mobilization Committee, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations are consolidated, streamlined, effective and efficient.

Regarding Directive 21, after 5 years of implementation, the awareness, responsibility and actions of Party committees, authorities and the entire political system in Can Loc regarding the role and position of women and women's work in the new situation have had many positive changes.

Gender equality in the political, economic, cultural and social fields has achieved positive results. The number and quality of female leaders and managers in agencies, units and enterprises has increased, and the position of women in the family and society has been increasingly affirmed and enhanced. The Women's Union at all levels has been increasingly consolidated and developed; the role of the Women's Union in caring for and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of its members has been promoted, creating conditions for women to have many opportunities to develop their intelligence and demonstrate their abilities.

At the conference, there were many discussions, lessons learned, and tasks and solutions proposed to continue effectively implementing Resolution 25 and Directive 21.

Concluding the conference, Secretary of the District Party Committee Nghiem Sy Dong proposed to continue to effectively implement resolutions on mass mobilization work, bringing the resolutions into real life; focusing on issues related to people's lives; strengthening dialogue work, promptly resolving difficulties at the grassroots level; paying attention to building strong and cohesive party organizations and socio-political organizations; mass mobilization work needs to be closely linked to local political tasks.

Regarding Directive No. 21, in the coming time, women's unions at all levels will continue to organize movements well; arouse the spirit and aspirations of women; pay attention to training and improving the quality of female cadres to meet task requirements; and constantly innovate working methods.
