Regarding this issue, the Ministry of Health responded as follows:
For practitioners with an internal medicine practice scope, the scope of practice is adjusted (supplemented) with the scope of "oncology" to perform internal medicine and oncology techniques.
The list of technical implementation is specified in Appendix V and Appendix IX of Circular No. 32/2023/TT-BYT detailing a number of articles of the Law on Medical Examination and Treatment.
In addition, practitioners must follow the technical procedures issued by the Ministry of Health to perform the techniques.
