Entrance to Revolutionary Base K20

K20 Revolutionary Base was the name given by the District 3 Party Committee as a communication code during the anti-American period. This was originally a secret, unique base located in the heart of the enemy, a buffer zone for our soldiers, cadres and guerrillas to use as a springboard to attack the bases of the American imperialists and the Saigon government.

The secret bunker was built right under the altar in the house, used to hide cadres and wounded soldiers in Mr. Huynh Trung's family.

During the period from 1964 to 1975, the people of K20 built 157 secret tunnels and a complex underground tunnel system to hide cadres, store weapons, food and important documents. These secret tunnels were dug everywhere in the house, under the bed, in the garden, on the porch, forming a solid fortress. Currently, some secret tunnels still exist and are ranked as national historical relics such as Mr. Huynh Phien's house, Mrs. Nhieu's temple, Huynh clan temple and Mr. Huynh Trung's house.

The mountains carry their own stories, geological features, shapes as well as unique cultural, historical and feng shui values.
