Delegate Dinh Thi Ngoc Dung, National Assembly Delegation of Hai Duong province, questioned the Minister of Foreign Affairs about solutions to the current situation of fraud in exporting young laborers.
"There is a current situation where Vietnamese people, mainly young people, are tricked into working abroad but are instead forced to work in fraudulent casinos and prostitution. May I ask the Minister of Foreign Affairs if there are any solutions to detect and support people in this situation? " , delegate Dinh Thi Ngoc Dung questioned.
Responding to questions, Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son said that labor export fraud has mainly occurred from 2020 to present.
"This is a very complicated issue. In the future, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will continue to coordinate with ministries and branches in propagating and warning people. At the same time, it will provide information for authorities to handle and stop fraud rings that lure, entice, and send young people abroad to work illegally," the Minister of Foreign Affairs replied.
Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son also emphasized that he will carry out citizen protection work, support the repatriation of victims, and closely cooperate with host countries to rescue citizens who are victims of human trafficking and forced labor.
Delegate Nguyen Thi Viet Nga also questioned the Minister of Foreign Affairs about the results of implementing the Cultural Diplomacy Strategy in promoting the image of the country and people of Vietnam, promoting tourism, socio-economic development and solutions in the coming time.
What is the solution to make the insurance market transparent?
National Assembly delegates from Hai Duong province also expressed their concerns and questioned the life insurance business. Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Hai Duong province Nguyen Thi Viet Nga wondered whether it was necessary to conduct a comprehensive inspection of life insurance companies for better management and asked Minister of Finance Ho Duc Phoc to respond.
Delegate Bui Sy Hoan, Director of the Department of Justice, National Assembly Delegation of Hai Duong province, said that many opinions said that disputes in insurance contracts were due to unclear and incomplete consultation, but mainly stemmed from the quality of the team of consultants. The delegate asked the Minister to share his views and solutions.
Regarding this issue, Finance Minister Ho Duc Phoc has proposed many solutions. In particular, the Minister emphasized that there will be surprise inspections based on complaints and denunciations from people and life insurance participants.
Delegate Dinh Thi Ngoc Dung also questioned the Minister of Finance about the situation of individuals hiding under the guise of lottery ticket agents but gambling in the form of betting on lottery numbers and suggested solutions to eliminate this situation.
