On April 17, car enthusiasts in Ho Chi Minh City were able to admire the new Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II 2025 super luxury car - this is the mid-life upgrade version of the famous super luxury sedan from the UK, officially distributed in Vietnam.

This Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II super luxury sedan in Vietnam is a mid-life upgrade of the second generation first launched globally in 2020. Still maintaining the "Post Opulence" design philosophy (minimalist luxury), the new model continues to be loyal to the brand's signature monolithic appearance.

The car has a Pantheon grille with the Spirit of Ecstasy logo that now glows, creating an impressive visual highlight when moving at night. The front lighting system has been slightly refined with sharper headlights and daytime running lights. New chrome details on the front of the car further highlight the feeling of luxury and solemnity.

At the rear, the Ghost Series II features redesigned taillights with two vertical LED strips inspired by the Spectre electric coupe. The double "R" emblem is delicately engraved on the metal panels, contributing to the elegant rear end.

Customers will also have two new 22-inch multi-spoke wheel designs: one fully polished and one partially polished, creating two different styles for the same overall exterior.

Notably, Rolls-Royce expands the personalization possibilities with a series of new paint options on Ghost Series II, in addition to the more than 44,000 available options. Buyers can also request a unique paint color and keep it exclusive.

The Ghost Series II on display at the launch was finished in Mustique Blue – a Caribbean-inspired shade of blue with a shimmering effect thanks to glass and mica beads, which was used on the 1929 Phantom II Continental model owned by Henry Royce himself.

Inside the Ghost Series II is a perfect blend of modern technology and the highest level of craftsmanship. The dashboard now uses a single piece of glass instead of the traditional design. The instrument cluster is now a fully digital display, allowing Bespoke to display colors according to customer preferences.

The Spirit operating system is integrated into the central screen and comes with the exclusive Whispers app for Rolls-Royce owners. With Whispers, users can send routes from their phone to the car, view the car's location in real time and control functions remotely.

The Ghost Series II rear seats support up to two devices, allowing independent content to be played on each screen. Massage, heating and cooling functions are also fully integrated. The sound system is a highlight with 18 speakers, a 1,400-watt amplifier, and integrated technology that turns aluminum parts into low-frequency resonance boxes.

The Bespoke version also uses the roof as a second speaker, providing a comprehensive sound experience. If you choose the Starlight roof option, the starlight effect is combined with a special sound filter, creating a rare blend of image and sound.

The Ghost Series II also has the option of "Serenity Seating" with footrests like those in first class. The wine cooler is designed with two fixed temperatures of 6 degrees Celsius and 11 degrees Celsius, optimally serving Champagne, according to advice from Rolls-Royce's master blender.

Reflecting the distinctive bespoke spirit, the Ghost Series II interior features a range of unique materials. The centre console features a miniature Spirit of Ecstasy statue made from solid stainless steel, which is illuminated by stage lighting when the car is started.

The Illuminated Fascia is a side panel that takes its inspiration from the movement of stars, evoking a fast-forward night sky. Grey Stained Ash is used for the wood trim, with tiny metallic particles added to create a shimmering effect – a technique that took over four years to develop.

Another interesting highlight is the Duality Twill material - a highly sustainable bamboo woven fabric, inspired by the bamboo forest near the Mimosa Villa, where Henry Royce once stayed. This fabric is hand-embroidered with the "Duality" motif, using up to 2.2 million stitches, lasting more than 20 hours of handcrafting for each piece of furniture.

Ghost Series II continues to use a 6.75L twin-turbocharged V12 engine, producing a maximum capacity of 563 horsepower and a maximum torque of 850 Nm. The car is equipped with an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission and a full-time 4-wheel drive system. On Ghost Series II, the Planar suspension system is sophisticatedly designed with Upper Wishbone shock absorbers placed above the front springs.

Meanwhile, electronically controlled shock absorbers that can be continuously adjusted in real time, combined with large stabilizer bars, contribute to a more stable and smooth ride. At the rear, the air suspension system with a smart 5-link design automatically balances according to the load.

In particular, Flagbearer technology integrates a front road surface scanning camera and a satellite navigation system, allowing the car to predict road conditions to actively and accurately adjust the suspension. The price of the Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II starts from 34.9 billion VND for the standard version and 38.9 billion VND for the Extended version with a long wheelbase. There is also a high-performance version, the Black Badge Ghost Series II, which has not yet been announced.
