TPO - Each room is about 15 square meters wide, with 3-4 bunk beds for 6-8 people. With a rental price of 1.5-1.8 million VND/person/month, this model brings in 5 times more profit than traditional rooms but has the potential risk of fire and explosion.

Recently, in Hanoi, the model of Sleep box (sleeping box) and bunk bed dormitories has appeared. Accordingly, each room is from 12m2-20m2 wide and is divided into many Sleep boxes. Each wooden Sleep box is 2.2m long, 1.2m wide, 1.5m high, bunk bed style with full amenities such as blankets, mattresses, desks, wardrobes... Some owners instead of using Sleep boxes use bunk beds (like student dormitories) and install curtains to create private space for tenants. On average, each Sleep box will cost from 1.5 million - 1.8 million VND/month/bed.

In fact, most of the Sleep box rental buildings are individual houses, renovated and divided into "sleeping boxes" or bunk beds, so fire prevention is not guaranteed. Moreover, "transforming" houses into Sleep boxes also increases population density, potentially posing risks to security, order and fire prevention.
