On the afternoon of March 24, the jet ski racers entered the final stages of the race on Thi Nai lagoon in the coastal city of Quy Nhon. Thousands of spectators filled every space in the stands to enjoy the unique international jet ski racing performance, the first of its kind in Vietnam.
Before this final race, the leaders of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee and the race organizers held a parade by Vietnam Coast Guard boats, making the atmosphere more exciting and grand.
When the starting signal was given, the racers rushed forward at a maximum speed of up to 170km/h, making the audience extremely excited.
In particular, the racers showed off their abilities and techniques with smooth and thrilling cornering.
Mixed with the roar of the engines, the audience continuously applauded the racers.
Many people could not hide their emotions when witnessing this fast-paced race.
Mr. Nguyen Van Minh (65 years old, in Quy Nhon) excitedly said: "This is the first time I have directly seen a motorbike running underwater at such a fast speed. Everyone tried to surpass their opponents, the white water splashed and painted very unique shapes on Thi Nai lagoon".
