After a nearly 3-week voyage, in the early morning of July 5, the Greek ship Sea Pearl, carrying 270,000 tons of crude oil from Kuwait, docked at the undocked oil dumping buoy at Nghi Son port, Thanh Hoa province, 35 km from the mainland. With its large size and load, the ship was towed safely to the oil dumping buoy by the service fleet of PTSC Thanh Hoa Technical Services Joint Stock Company.
To support the towing of this super-heavy ship, PTSC Thanh Hoa Technical Services Joint Stock Company mobilized 4 pilot ships around the Sea Pearl to anchor.
