Recently, at the Tokyo Motorcycle Show 2025, Dirt Freak introduced a new product called the GE-N3. The new Dirt Freak GE-N3 2025 is an electric motorcycle that can be legally used on public roads. |
The Dirt Freak GE-N3 electric motorcycle is the first product to be certified and can be operated on legal public roads in Japan. It is certified as a Class 1 electric motorcycle, which can be operated with a regular driver's license. |
It is designed in an off-road style, easy to use for beginners. This model is developed from the research and design base, applying the extensive knowledge of off-road motorcycles that Dirt Freak has accumulated over the years. |
The GE-N3 features a striking design with a combination of horizontal lines and panels that give it the feel of a dedicated tool, and has received high design acclaim, including a Good Design Award. |
The name "GE-N3" has two meanings, "GENeration 3" (3rd generation), following the previous products of the Dirt Freak brand in Japan, "Meow" and "Woof", and "GEN" means motorcycle. |
The bike offers three different driving modes, which can be switched via the “+/-” buttons on the handlebars: “Mode 1” provides smooth throttle response, “Mode 2” provides quicker response, and “Mode 3” unlocks full engine power for off-road driving, optimizing traction. |
In terms of power, the GE-N3 uses a 72V battery and a 230Nm high torque motor, with the advantage of good off-road capability. The vehicle can travel about 60 km per charge and can extend the distance up to 100 km when moving continuously at a speed of 30 km/h. |
In addition, the footrest position and rear suspension can be adjusted in 4 different positions, with a low saddle height of 790mm, suitable for many types of riders. |
Furthermore, since the parts of the bike are taken from the bicycle, maintenance and repairs can be done at bicycle shops, reducing costs for beginners. |
The price of the Dirt Freak GE-N3 in Japan is 396,000 Yen (about 70 million VND). However, the first batch of products only had 100 units and sold out quickly. Currently, the car is in production and is expected to be available for sale in July 2025. |
