Close-up of the majestic rocky mountain range suddenly exposed during hydropower construction in Quang Nam

Recently, people in the mountainous district of Phuoc Son, Quang Nam province expressed their admiration for the uniquely shaped rocky mountains in Phuoc Nang commune.

This majestic rocky mountain range is located about 2km from Ho Chi Minh road, more than 10km southwest of Kham Duc town center (Phuoc Son district).

According to local people, the rocky mountain range used to be hidden in the ground, only a little exposed but hidden by trees. In 2018, when the Nuoc Che hydropower project was implemented, the road opened to bring water from the main dam to the turbine, revealing the cliff with stacked rocks, with many interesting shapes.

The rocky mountain range is nearly 500m long, with Dak Che stream below and forest covering the top.

Each stone pillar is nearly 5m high, arranged next to each other along the road.

Chairman of Phuoc Nang Commune People's Committee Ho Van Khu said that because the mountain was newly discovered, it is still very wild and not many people know about it. Occasionally, only a few locals come to visit, then go down to the stream to bathe.

According to Mr. Khu, in the future, the locality wants to take advantage of the majestic beauty of this rocky mountain range to develop tourism.
