Traffic jams and flooding often occur on many roads in Ho Chi Minh City, especially during rush hours or holidays. The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Transport has cooperated with Zalo to launch a feature to monitor traffic jams and flooding through images from 685 traffic cameras spread across the roads.
In addition to the camera observation feature, this tool can also automatically send messages to users if there is any new information about traffic accidents causing traffic jams, road closures or roads under construction restricting vehicles.
To view traffic cameras in Ho Chi Minh City via Zalo application on Android and iPhone phones, you can follow the steps below.
Step 1: Download the latest version of Zalo application for Android and iPhone to your device.
Step 2: Start the Zalo application after updating to the latest version. At the main interface of this application, you select the Search icon from the device screen. Now you enter the keyword traffic information.
Step 3: Once you have successfully entered this keyword, click on the Ho Chi Minh City Traffic Information result icon and then click on the Interested in this traffic information section.
Step 4: Now you will be transferred to the interface to update traffic information in the city, click on the Around here item. The system will immediately display information about the list of cameras in the area around your current location. Click on Camera to confirm.
Traffic jams will be red, orange (congested) and green (clear).
If your area supports the feature of viewing traffic cameras on Zalo, the program will display a list of cameras that you can choose to monitor. In addition, you can also check or check information about viewing traffic cameras on Zalo, in turn, select the Traffic camera information and features section.
The traffic camera feature in the Information section will provide you with information about traffic flow such as road closures or road construction... and a list of 685 cameras throughout Ho Chi Minh City.
