Step 1: Access the online public service system of the Department of Drug Administration, section "Drug registration, registration number lookup".

Step 2: Look up drug registration papers and drug ingredients circulating in Vietnam, enter information about the drug you want to find (can be searched by drug name, manufacturing facility, registration facility, drug circulation registration number...).

Select the item: Search for registration number. Fill in all information: registration number (VD-…, VN-…, QLSP-…) or drug name (Paracetamol, Augmentin, ). Click the "search" button to display the results.

Step 3: Compare and check the results. The system will provide: complete information about the drug in the columns of drug name, registration number, dosage form, active ingredient, content, registration and manufacturing facility; sample labels and instructions for use of the drug approved by the Drug Administration in the column: Instructions for use/label sample.

Drugs with registration numbers issued by the Ministry of Health posted on the above website are drugs licensed for circulation and use in Vietnam.

The registered drugs include commonly used groups of drugs such as: antibiotics, pain relievers, antipyretics, vitamins...; specialized drugs: cardiovascular, bone and joint, metabolic, cancer, respiratory, ear, nose and throat, dermatology...; oral, intravenous, topical, and spray dosage forms that have been licensed for circulation.

The representative of the Drug Administration also noted that the use of treatment drugs must be prescribed by a doctor.
