(Dan Tri) - Mr. Jensen Huang's 14-hour workday starts at 6 a.m. He often eats in the company kitchen to connect with employees and encourage them to come to him if they need support.
According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index , billionaire Jensen Huang is the 11th richest person in the world with a net worth of $127 billion. According to Forbes, the Nvidia CEO's fortune is also at $124.5 billion. Despite his huge fortune, billionaire Jensen Huang is a workaholic. "Work is a wonderful thing. I always work as much as I can. I work seven days a week. When I'm not working, I'm still thinking about working, and when I'm working, I'm really working," he said at the Stripe Sessions event in May. Sharing his work schedule, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said he usually wakes up at 6 a.m., starts a new day by exercising before working 14 hours a day. He also added that he works from the moment he wakes up until he goes to bed and that he even forgets after watching a movie because he's so absorbed in thinking about work. The Nvidia chief says he has very high standards for himself. In an interview with 60 Minutes earlier this year, he described himself as demanding, a perfectionist, and not easy to work with. At 61, he shows no signs of slowing down. “I always want to do hard things and then do really hard things,” he said on the 20VC podcast in March. The billionaire works during the week and on holidays, but he doesn’t feel pressured and instead finds it relaxing because he loves what he does. Notably, the Nvidia CEO spends a lot of time talking to employees. "People are surprised how much time I spend in the cafeteria, whether it's lunch or dinner," he said. He encourages employees at all levels on all projects to come to him if they need support. "On average, I get 50 direct reports a day, and there's not a task below me that I don't know about," the Nvidia boss said. He also encourages everyone in the company to send him the top five things on their minds. The Nvidia chief sees himself as the company's culture steward. "If you want to be a culture steward, you can't do it through CNN or through articles in Forbes . You have to do it with 1% of the time, or large crowds at once, so that's how I spend my time," he shared at the conference. During his visit to Vietnam, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh witnessed the signing of an agreement between the Vietnamese Government and Nvidia Corporation on cooperation in establishing Nvidia's Artificial Intelligence (AI) Research and Development Center and AI Data Center in Vietnam. The Prime Minister and Nvidia CEO walked around the old town together, enjoying beer and Vietnamese cuisine. Mr. Jensen Huang happily poured beer for Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, enjoying beer and some dishes such as tofu with onions, fried sour sausage... Billionaire Jensen Huang founded Nvidia in 1993, specializing in graphics chips. For decades, this has remained the company's largest business segment. The turning point came in late 2022, when OpenAI launched ChatGPT, opening a global generative AI craze and requiring Nvidia GPUs to train models.
