Dismissed principal for not coming to work for more than a month

(Dan Tri) - Regarding the case of the principal in Gia Lai who has "disappeared" and not been to the office for more than a month, the People's Committee of Chu Prong district, Gia Lai province has decided to discipline him by dismissing him from office.

On January 6, the People's Committee of Chu Prong district, Gia Lai province issued a disciplinary decision against Mr. Doan Huu Khue, Principal of Le Van Tam Secondary School (Ia Pior commune, Chu Prong district).

Recently, Mr. Khue has committed violations in the management and use of financial resources at Le Van Tam Secondary School, period 2022-2023.

In addition, Mr. Khue also violated regulations in performing the duties of a civil servant; labor discipline, and working regulations of public service units. In addition, Mr. Khue also failed to complete his assigned management and operation tasks without a valid reason.

With the above violations, the People's Committee of Chu Prong district has issued a disciplinary decision in the form of dismissal from office for Mr. Khue.

Previously, from October to November 2024, Mr. Doan Huu Khue "disappeared" and did not come to work at school for more than a month. Therefore, many teachers and staff in the school were delayed in receiving their salaries.

In September 2024, Chu Prong District Inspectorate also issued a conclusion on the inspection of the management and use of funding sources at Le Van Tam Secondary School and discovered violations of more than 31 million VND.

Regarding this violation, Chu Prong District Inspectorate has recommended transferring the case file to Chu Prong District Police for handling according to authority.
