National athletes maintain their form, winning many distances at VTV Phu Quoc Marathon 2025

The VTV Phu Quoc Marathon 2025 attracted more than 5,000 domestic and international athletes. Athletes competed in the following distances: 42km, 21km, 10km and 5km. With the route assessed as airy, wide, with little slope and flat, passing through high-class resorts, athletes can fully experience the beauty of Phu Quoc.

One of the notable points of the first VTV Phu Quoc Marathon is that there is a category for domestic and international athletes for the 42km and 21km distances. Unfortunately, the attractive national record breaking prizes of up to 50 million VND and 25 million VND for the 42km and 21km distances had no winners despite the presence of familiar record holders Nguyen Thi Oang, Hoang Nguyen Thanh, Nguyen Trung Cuong.

The "last minute" landing of record holder Hoang Nguyen Thanh along with a series of famous runners such as Dan Quyet, former national player Le Van Tuan and Tan Hi created a dramatic race, heating up the VTV Phu Quoc Marathon 2025.

At the end of the races, runner Hoang Nguyen Thanh won the men's 42km race; athlete Bui Thu Ha led the women's 42km race. At the 21km race, two athletes Nguyen Thi Oanh and Nguyen Trung Cuong won. Athlete Luong Duc Phuoc won the men's 10km race and athlete Nguyen Hieu won the men's 5km race.

The Phu Quoc - VTV Marathon 2025 not only brings a memorable sporting experience but also contributes to raising Vietnam's position on the international sports map.
