On the morning of October 2, the Dak Lak Province Association for the Promotion of Education held a conference for religious organizations to join hands to promote the movement of building a learning society and promoting lifelong learning in Dak Lak Province.
Attending the conference were Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee H'Yim Kđoh; Chairman of the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education Pham Dang Khoa; Deputy Director of the Provincial Department of Education and Training Do Tuong Hiep, along with representatives of leaders of relevant departments, agencies, units, dignitaries, officials, and representatives of religious organizations in the area.

The report at the conference said that in recent times, with the motto of "good life - good religion", "religion goes hand in hand with the nation", religious organizations in the province have actively responded to and participated in the movement to encourage learning, encourage talents, build a learning society, promote national cultural identity, build a civilized lifestyle, strengthen the great national unity bloc and develop the province's socio-economy. Currently, the province has 261 Learning Promotion Boards in religious establishments; 713 religious dignitaries, officials, and monks participating in the work of the Learning Promotion Association; 161,052 members of the Learning Promotion Association are fellow believers and followers.
From 2022 to present, religious establishments have coordinated with social organizations and schools to mobilize over 40.3 billion VND to support the construction and repair of 15 classrooms, 90 auxiliary works, donate 1,007 bicycles and 37,533 gifts to students, grant scholarships and support poor students to overcome difficulties to go to school; mobilize over 3.4 billion VND to support 2,401 families to overcome difficulties, create conditions for their children to study, not drop out of school halfway...

In order to promote emulation movements to build a learning society and promote lifelong learning, 166,765 religious friends and followers have registered to build "Learning Citizens"; 72,723 families of religious friends and followers have registered to build "Learning Families"; 224 religious establishments have registered to build "Learning Religious Communities"...
In addition to the achieved results, the work of building a learning society and lifelong learning still faces some difficulties such as: the dissemination of the Party and State's policies and guidelines on promoting learning, promoting talents, and building a learning society has not been implemented promptly in some localities; the results of developing learning promotion organizations and learning promotion members in religious establishments in localities and religions in the province still have large differences; the results of building learning models in religious communities are still low compared to the general results of the whole province...

Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee H'Yim Kđoh acknowledged and commended the positive and effective contributions of religious organizations in the work of promoting learning, promoting talents, and building a learning society in the province. At the same time, he hoped that in the coming time, religious organizations would continue to pay attention and coordinate effectively with local authorities and the Association for Promotion of Learning to promote and respond to the Movement "Dak Lak competes to build a learning society, promote lifelong learning in the period 2023-2030" with key tasks such as: expanding models of organizations to nurture and care for orphans, homeless children, and children with disabilities; supporting poor children and children in difficult circumstances; expanding the model of building "Learning Families"; mobilizing parents to pay attention and encourage their children to study hard, practice ethics, healthy living skills, not to drop out of school, not to violate school rules and laws; Promote mobilization work so that the majority of religious people actively respond and participate in the emulation movement to build a learning society, build models of "Learning Citizens", "Learning Families", "Learning Communities"...

On this occasion, the conference awarded Certificates of Merit from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Association for Promoting Education to 4 groups and 5 individuals of the Dak Lak Association for Promoting Education for their outstanding achievements in the emulation movement to promote learning, encourage talents, and build a learning society, period 2019-2024.
Awarding support from the Provincial Scholarship Fund to students.
Dak Lak Province's Association for Promotion of Education awarded Certificates of Merit to 19 groups and 21 individuals of religious organizations who have made many contributions to the movement of promoting education, promoting talents, building a learning society, and lifelong learning in Dak Lak Province over the past 5 years. The Provincial Fund for Promotion of Education supported 15 students who are children of dignitaries, officials, followers, and religious followers with especially difficult circumstances in the area, each support worth 1 million VND.
