On April 23, information from the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment said that this agency has just sent an official dispatch to the People's Committees of provinces and cities, requesting to synthesize and report on the implementation of specific land price determination in the area.
Accordingly, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment requested localities to direct relevant agencies to synthesize and report on a number of contents such as: The situation of promulgating legal documents related to determining specific land prices in the area.
Along with that, localities reported difficulties and problems in the implementation process, including legal issues, implementation organization and enforcement conditions.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Environment also requested the People's Committees of provinces and cities to propose recommendations on mechanisms, policies and solutions for determining specific land prices in the area.
Localities send reports to the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment (via the Department of Land Management) before April 25, 2025 and via email address: [email protected], for this agency to synthesize and report to the Government./.
According to the representative of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, in 2024, when advising the National Assembly to promulgate the revised Land Law, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment identified land prices as the most important factor. Therefore, the revised Land Law has expanded the application of land price lists and valuation methods in a more transparent manner. For land auctions, the winning bid price is considered the official land price, without the need for re-valuation. Meanwhile, for projects bidding to select investors, land prices will be determined by methods such as comparison, surplus, etc. to limit the situation of undervaluation causing budget loss. The above methods also contribute to creating a more public and transparent mechanism in the process of land allocation and leasing. |
