On the afternoon of June 29, at the end of the second day of the exam, which was also the last exam session for the Foreign Language subject, Son La candidates completed the 2023 High School Graduation Exam. Many candidates left the exam room with a relaxed mindset.

Candidates took the Foreign Language test in the form of a multiple-choice test, with a time limit of 60 minutes. Most candidates left the exam room with confidence and assessed that this year's exam had the potential to achieve high scores.

In terms of knowledge content, the questions are mainly in the 12th grade program. The exam focuses on testing the candidates' reading and writing skills when applying grammar and vocabulary knowledge to read and understand the text. The questions are closely related to the illustrative topic. The questions on vocabulary, synonyms - antonyms and the reading passage have good content and problem posing. However, many candidates assessed that this year's exam was also more difficult.

According to information from the Provincial Steering Committee for the 2023 High School Graduation Exam, this afternoon, 10,135 candidates registered to take the Foreign Language exam (English: 10,129, Chinese 4, Japanese 1, Korean 1). There were 10,097 candidates present, 38 absent (English), of which 13 candidates were exempted from the exam, 2 were sick, 1 died, 22 candidates had registered to take the exam but did not take it. The exam took place normally, without any unusual incidents.
After 2 days of examination, the examination organization was carried out strictly, in accordance with procedures and regulations, ensuring quality, security and order were ensured at the examination sites. The whole province had no candidates or supervisors violating examination regulations. The examination supervisors performed seriously, in accordance with the assigned functions and tasks.
