According to the report of Thai Thuy district, currently, 100% of meritorious families, poor households, near-poor households, and people in difficult circumstances in Thai Thuy district have received Tet gifts. The political security situation, social order and safety are ensured; currently, the roads in the area are clear, creating favorable conditions for people to travel. The district People's Committee has assigned and recruited 83 cadres, civil servants and public employees to participate in ensuring security and order during the Lunar New Year in key areas. In addition, localities have carried out well the spring crop production and the work of selecting and calling citizens to join the army in 2024.
The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged and commended the achievements of Thai Thuy district in the past time, especially in spring crop production, ensuring social security, taking care of Tet for policy families, poor and near-poor households, and people in difficult circumstances. He requested the district to review the work to focus on implementing it well right from the first days and months of the year. In particular, proactively grasp the security and order situation in the area; thoroughly resolve arising issues right at the grassroots level, not allowing security and order hotspots to occur; effectively carry out prevention work, not being passive and surprised in any situation. At the same time, proactively develop plans to ensure traffic safety, not allowing traffic congestion during Tet; assign shifts to be on duty and strictly maintain the on-duty regime; well organize activities such as fireworks, culture, arts, and spring festivals in accordance with regulations, creating an exciting atmosphere for the people at the beginning of the new year.
The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: The tasks in 2024 are very heavy, so after the Lunar New Year, the district needs to focus on immediately implementing key tasks, especially site clearance and implementing steps to implement key projects of the province such as: Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park, Vsip Thai Binh Industrial Park, Ninh Binh - Hai Phong Expressway (CT.08), Thai Binh LNG Thermal Power Plant project... At the same time, focus on drastic solutions in budget collection and auctioning land use rights right from the beginning of the year.

For Thai Binh 2 Thermal Power Plant, in 2023, despite facing many difficulties and challenges, Thai Binh 2 Thermal Power Plant has basically stabilized its organization and resolutely implemented the assigned production and business plan. Total electricity output in 2023 reached 115% of the plan, revenue is estimated at nearly 6,500 billion VND; contributing 230 billion VND to the state budget.

At the same time, focusing on environmental sanitation, social security, ensuring stable income for workers. The province is committed to always supporting and accompanying the Plant to promptly remove difficulties and obstacles to help the Plant operate safely, with enough energy to serve the daily life and production of the people.
