Tourist and cultural attractions attract many visitors on the occasion of Hung King's death anniversary

During the Hung Kings' death anniversary holiday in 2025, many tourist, cultural and entertainment areas in the city attract many visitors.

According to records, Sun World Ba Na Hills tourist area welcomed a large number of visitors during this occasion. Notably, on April 6, Sun World Ba Na Hills reached 31,900 visitors; this is a record number of visitors since the opening of this tourist area 16 years ago, 3 times higher than the same period in 2024. During the 2-day holiday of Hung Kings' death anniversary, Sun World Ba Na Hills welcomed nearly 54,000 visitors.

A representative of Sun World Ba Na Hills said that most of the visitors come from the Central Highlands region, as the resort is currently implementing a special program for people from 19 provinces and cities in this region. Accordingly, from now until April 15, the entrance ticket for people from the Central Highlands region is only 350,000 VND for adults, 250,000 VND for children and the elderly.

Not only offering attractive price policies, the tourist area also attracts visitors by the jubilant atmosphere and brilliant landscape of hundreds of thousands of sunflowers and many unique experiences within the framework of the Sun Flower Festival held for the first time in Ba Na. Impressive miniature landscapes created with sunflowers and many attractive minishows, taking place at many time frames and many locations in the tourist area, make visitors excited and enthusiastic.

At Da Nang Downtown, the number of visitors nearly doubled compared to the same holiday period last year. Visitors arriving on April 6 experienced lion and dragon performances, Vui Phet night market and many exciting thrilling games. Nui Than Tai Hot Spring Park tourist area welcomed a large number of visitors with nearly 8,000 visitors during the two days of the holiday. The attraction of the tourist area is increasing when in 2025, the unit put many new items into service such as: a picnic area with more than 50 lovely tents, exploring the kingdom of birds at Bird Garden, participating in the special Than Tai parade and a series of exciting circus shows...

On the occasion of the Hung Kings' death anniversary, the city offers free admission to the Ngu Hanh Son scenic relic site and the Museum of Fine Arts, the Museum of Cham Sculpture, and the Da Nang Museum, creating conditions for the public to access local culture and history. At the Da Nang Museum, the total number of visitors from April 1 to 6 was 18,849 (including 657 foreign visitors); on the two weekends alone, the number of visitors was high with 5,766 on April 5 and 6,317 on April 6.

Previously, statistics on online travel platforms showed that Da Nang led the list of top 10 destinations that Vietnamese tourists were most interested in during the Hung Kings' death anniversary holiday; Da Nang also led the list of top 10 destinations searched for the most flights from April 4 to April 7.
