* On the evening of July 26, at the Martyrs' Cemetery of Ninh Phuc Commune, Ninh Binh City Youth Union coordinated with the City Military Command, the City Veterans Association and Ninh Phuc Commune to organize a candle lighting ceremony to pay tribute to heroic martyrs on the occasion of the 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2024).
Attending the candle lighting ceremony were comrade Dinh Van Tien, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the Ninh Binh City Party Committee; city leaders; leaders of the Provincial Veterans Association, representatives of the Provincial Military Command, Provincial Youth Union; leaders of Ninh Phuc commune and a large number of people.
Ninh Phuc Commune Martyrs' Cemetery is the resting place of nearly 200 martyrs who fought and sacrificed heroically in the resistance wars to protect the Fatherland. At the ceremony, delegates laid wreaths, offered incense, lit candles to express their respect and deep gratitude for the contributions and sacrifices of the heroic martyrs for the cause of national liberation and for the peace of the country. At the same time, they expressed their determination to compete in studying, working creatively, and building their homeland to become more and more prosperous and beautiful, worthy of the sacrifices of the heroic martyrs.
The delegates and all the people also observed a minute of silence to express their respect and infinite gratitude to the great President Ho Chi Minh; to remember and pay tribute to comrade Nguyen Phu Trong, General Secretary of the Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam; to remember and pay tribute to the heroic martyrs and compatriots who fell in the long-term resistance wars, the struggle for national liberation and reunification.
The candle lighting ceremony to pay tribute to heroic martyrs is one of the annual and meaningful activities of the people of Ninh Binh city, demonstrating the morality of " When drinking water, remember its source", "Repaying gratitude " of the Vietnamese people; to pay tribute to the great contributions and merits of previous generations, those who did not spare their blood and bones for the independence and freedom of the nation, for the happiness of the people.
* On the evening of July 26, on the occasion of the 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2024), the District Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Gia Vien district organized a visit to the Martyrs' Cemetery and paid tribute to the heroic martyrs at the district's Martyrs' Cemetery.
Gia Vien district currently has more than 4,300 meritorious people who are enjoying preferential treatment and monthly subsidies from the State. Among them are nearly 1,700 wounded and sick soldiers, more than 3,000 martyrs...
Over the years, the work of war invalids, martyrs and people with meritorious services in Gia Vien district has always received attention from Party committees and authorities at all levels. The district has promoted extensive propaganda to all levels, sectors and all classes of people about the Party and State's policies and regulations on the work of war invalids and martyrs. Therefore, the movements of "Repaying gratitude" and "Remembering the source of water" have had a strong influence in the community.
Every year, on July 27, the district mobilizes all resources, mobilizes people and businesses in the area to donate and support the "Repaying gratitude and social security" Fund. From the fund, it has supported the construction and repair of houses for many policy families; repaired and upgraded the Martyrs' Memorials of communes and towns; supported capital, seeds, science and technology... for policy families, creating conditions for families to develop the economy, gradually improving the quality of life.
At the ceremony, in a solemn and respectful atmosphere, delegates burned incense to express gratitude and commemorate the great contributions of heroic martyrs who heroically sacrificed their blood and bones for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.
The Party Committee, army and people of Gia Vien district vow to unite and join forces to uphold the glorious and steadfast revolutionary tradition of the previous generations, striving to build Gia Vien district to become more and more prosperous and beautiful, worthy of the noble and heroic sacrifices of the heroic martyrs.
At the ceremony, the Executive Committee of the District Buddhist Sangha performed a prayer ceremony and released flower lanterns; Gia Vien District Youth Union organized a candlelight vigil to pay tribute to the heroic martyrs.
* On the evening of July 26, the District Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth Union of Kim Son district coordinated with the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of the district to hold a requiem and light candles to pay tribute to heroic martyrs at the district's martyrs cemetery (Kim Chinh commune).

In a solemn atmosphere, delegates respectfully offered flowers, incense, and lit candles at the Memorial, the Stele House area, and nearly 400 graves of heroic martyrs resting at Kim Son District Cemetery.
Delegates, union members and youth expressed deep gratitude to the Party, beloved Uncle Ho and General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong; and paid tribute to heroic martyrs who heroically sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.
The young generation of Kim Son vows to inherit the heroic and indomitable tradition of the previous generation, continue to unite, strive to study and work, and actively contribute to the socio-economic development, building the homeland and country to become increasingly rich, beautiful, and civilized.
Also on the occasion of the 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, the District Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth Union of Kim Son district visited and presented 10 gifts to families of meritorious people in the district; demonstrating the morality of "When drinking water, remember its source" and the responsibility of the district's youth.
* On the evening of July 26, the District Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nho Quan district organized an incense offering ceremony at the Ho Chi Minh Memorial House in Lang Phong commune; offered incense at the Luong Van Thang Memorial Area; laid wreaths and lit candles in gratitude at the Martyrs' Cemetery in Quynh Luu, Phu Long, and Van Phong communes.
At the Ho Chi Minh Memorial House in Lang Phong Commune, the delegation offered incense and flowers, expressing their infinite gratitude for the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh - National Liberation Hero, World Cultural Celebrity, who devoted his whole life to the cause of national liberation and unification. In front of the beloved Uncle Ho's spirit, cadres, party members and people of Nho Quan district will strive to compete, excellently complete the assigned tasks, and build Nho Quan homeland to become more and more beautiful.

* On the evening of July 26, at the district's Martyrs' Cemetery, the Standing Committee of Yen Khanh District Youth Union held a candle lighting ceremony to pay tribute to the heroic martyrs. Attending the ceremony were leaders of the Provincial Youth Union and Yen Khanh District; representatives of departments, offices, unions, and a large number of union members, youth and people in the district.
During the resistance wars to protect the Fatherland, more than 2,500 outstanding children of Yen Khanh hometown heroically sacrificed and were recognized as martyrs. Currently, in the district, there are 8 martyrs' cemeteries, 10 steles with martyrs' names, 1 martyrs' memorial, and over 1,500 martyrs' graves. Of which, the district's Martyrs' Cemetery alone is the resting place of more than 900 martyrs who are children of the hometown.
In a solemn and respectful atmosphere, delegates, youth union members and people from all walks of life offered incense, flowers and lit candles to pay tribute to the heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the cause of national liberation and for the peace of the country.
In recent times, the movement of "Repaying gratitude" and "Drinking water, remembering its source" has been actively responded to by the youth of Yen Khanh district. On the occasion of the 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, the Youth Union - Association at all levels and the youth of the whole district have registered to undertake hundreds of valuable youth projects and tasks; mobilized socialized resources with a total value of hundreds of millions of VND to join hands and contribute to taking care of the material and spiritual life of families with preferential policies and people with meritorious services; organized forums and pilgrimages to red addresses to educate the younger generation about traditions...
In particular, the candle lighting ceremony to pay tribute to heroic martyrs is a meaningful activity organized by the youth of Yen Khanh district every year on the occasion of the War Invalids and Martyrs Day, July 27. This is an opportunity for youth union members and people to express their deep gratitude to the great contributions of their predecessors and the heroic sacrifices of heroic martyrs for the cause of building and defending the Fatherland. From there, it further motivates the young generation to strive to study, practice, work and labor, contributing to the development of the province in general and Yen Khanh district in particular.
* On the evening of July 26, at the Martyrs Cemetery of Ninh An commune, the People's Committee of Hoa Lu district held a candle lighting ceremony to pay tribute to heroic martyrs.
Attending the ceremony were leaders of Hoa Lu district; departments, branches and organizations of the district; local leaders; relatives of martyrs' families and a large number of people.
During the wars to protect the Fatherland, thousands of young men from Hoa Lu district joined the army, many of whom sacrificed their lives or left behind a part of their blood and bones on the battlefield. At the Ninh An Commune Martyrs’ Cemetery alone, there are currently 160 graves of martyrs resting in peace.
In a sacred and respectful atmosphere, the delegates reviewed the heroic patriotic and revolutionary traditions of Hoa Lu, expressing gratitude for the contributions, sacrifices and great contributions of the heroic martyrs, wounded and sick soldiers in the resistance wars to protect the independence and freedom of the Fatherland. At the same time, they vowed to continue to inherit the heroic and indomitable traditions of their fathers and brothers, striving, studying, training and contributing to the prosperous development of their homeland.
It is known that on the occasion of the 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, July 27, Hoa Lu district presented gifts to more than 2,800 meritorious people with a value of more than 1 billion VND.
At the ceremony, delegates also released flower lanterns to commemorate the heroic martyrs.
*Also on the evening of July 26, the Youth Union chapters at all levels of the province simultaneously organized candle lighting ceremonies at all cemeteries and memorials of the province's heroic martyrs, with the participation of a large number of union members and young people. Thereby, contributing to educating revolutionary traditions, patriotism, raising awareness and responsibility of young people in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.
