Provincial departments and branches have been active, proactive with high responsibility in directing and implementing ethnic programs and policies and closely coordinating with the Provincial Ethnic Committee to effectively carry out assigned tasks. Party committees and authorities of ethnic minority and mountainous areas have closely followed and thoroughly implemented the direction of superiors to organize and implement ethnic policies in the area, initially achieving positive results in local socio-economic development.

During the year, a number of departments and branches have guided and directed the effective implementation of ethnic work and ethnic policies such as: Department of Planning and Investment, Department of Finance, Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs, Department of Health, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Provincial Women's Union... Localities have effectively implemented ethnic work and ethnic policies such as: Thach Thanh, Ba Thuoc, Quan Son, Nhu Thanh, Nhu Xuan...

At the conference, delegates focused on discussing and highly appreciating the results achieved in implementing ethnic programs and ethnic policies. At the same time, they pointed out the difficulties and limitations in implementing ethnic programs, including the implementation of national target programs (NTPs) in ethnic minority and mountainous areas.

Based on the results achieved in 2024, in implementing the tasks in 2025, Thanh Hoa continues to perform well the ethnic work, promoting the implementation of the National Target Programs, focusing on Program 1719 and related ethnic programs and policies. Strengthening urging, inspection and supervision to handle and remove difficulties and obstacles in implementing the Programs. Speeding up the disbursement of public investment capital, ensuring the completion of the plan for the period 2021-2025, evaluating the implementation and proposing the content of the project to implement the National Target Programs for the period 2026-2030. In 2025, Thanh Hoa province aims to reduce the poverty rate in ethnic minority and mountainous areas by an average of 3% or more.
