In order to achieve the goal of digital transformation and develop modern and convenient digital banking services to enhance customer experience and engagement, branches of the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank) in the province have been implementing many information technology application solutions, focusing on developing and providing online products and services to customers, contributing to reducing costs and time in payment transactions.

To improve the quality of customer service, Agribank Hoang Hoa district has deployed a series of utilities and cashless payment applications on the Agribank E-Mobile Banking platform to the people, creating a comprehensive experience for customers. Thereby, helping people use online payment services, limit the use of cash, save costs, avoid mistakes in counting, transportation and limit risks for customers, contributing to helping people get closer to modern products and services, changing the habit of using cash. Mr. Nguyen Van Hung, in But Son town, shared: "I have registered for monthly payment notification and automatic payment via Agribank Hoang Hoa bank account. Family service fees, such as telecommunication service fees, electricity and water bills are automatically deducted from Agribank E-Mobile Banking account, instead of having to spend time paying directly as before. Besides, using the service also helps me manage family finances conveniently and scientifically."
As commercial banks operating mainly in rural agriculture, in addition to playing a leading and key role in the economic development of the province, closely linked to the "three rural areas" sector, Agribank branches in the province have stepped up the implementation of digital transformation to bring electronic banking services to people, helping them access modern payment utilities, reduce costs, create a habit of cashless payment for consumers, contributing to the health of the microfinance market, limiting and repelling black credit. The branches focus on developing a variety of modern electronic banking products and services to meet the increasing needs of customers, contributing to the effective implementation of the national digital transformation goal by 2025, with a vision to 2030 of the Government. Accordingly, the branches are currently implementing many convenient services, such as: payment services into accounts for units receiving salaries through the State budget; linking e-wallets ZaloPay, SenPay; tuition and hospital fee collection services; bilateral electronic payments between Agribank and social insurance; electronic payments in the field of public services. In addition, banks also actively coordinate with schools, hospitals, electricity and telecommunications in the area to open payment accounts and provide collection services using Agribank's electronic payment methods.
In addition, to increase convenience for customers, Agribank branches have actively deployed banking services in rural areas, focusing on opening payment accounts, card services, electronic banking services, promoting cashless payments, promoting digital transformation, such as: investing in more ATMs, CDMs; installing more POS machines, payment transaction points via QR-Code, VietQR; opening payment deposit accounts and making cashless payments via banks. Thanks to that, the electronic transaction network and infrastructure of banks have been constantly upgraded, developed to be modern and advanced. Up to now, in addition to the headquarters, branches, and transaction offices under the banks, there are also 2 mobile transaction points using specialized cars, 85 ATMs, and nearly 500 POS machines. Agribank branches in the province are accompanying more than 1.6 million customers with deposits, loans, and using banking financial products and services.
To bring digital banking services to people, especially in rural areas, officers and employees of Agribank branches have directly gone to businesses, stores, units, enterprises, and households to introduce, advise, and support customers about Agribank's convenient products and services; organized propaganda in all communes about new applications and conveniences when making non-cash payments and printed tens of thousands of personal QR code sheets for small traders and shop owners in many localities in the province.
By actively implementing the goal of national digital transformation and developing many modern and convenient digital banking services, Agribank branches have been creating new transaction methods to expand their reach and connect more closely with customers.
