Recently, thousands of audiences came to Da Lat, to Ha Nhi in I see you. Her live voice has a blend of vocal technique and emotion. Going beyond the framework of a "female singer who only knows how to sing sad ballads", she opened her heart to the audience, sublimating in different musical experiments, full of passion. "I have somewhat advanced myself many years ago. After the show, I returned to the studio, went to practice, and prepared for new projects", the female singer expressed.
Ha Nhi's transformation and breakthrough were clearly shown in 2022, when she released many carefully and seriously invested music products; continuously appeared on stages and tea rooms. Appearing on the game show The Masked Singer was also a turning point for her to become a Vietnamese music phenomenon last year. Then, she was named in the Breakthrough Singer category of the 2022 Green Wave Awards. The tears on the stage of the Ho Chi Minh City Peace Theater at the awards ceremony in January were enough to show how emotional she was when her efforts were recognized.
Ha Nhi was born in 1994, loves singing even though no one in her family is in the arts. She first came to the audience in the Vietnam Idol 2015 contest, entering the top 4 finalists. In 2019, she returned to the Perfect Hidden Number contest, won the championship and then determined to pursue music professionally. When she first started her career, the female singer released songs and performed, but the audience was not very interested. Even when she asked to sing in a tea room, she was rejected because she was not famous yet. Feeling so sad, she never gave up. After that, thanks to some outstanding cover songs, Ha Nhi got noticed. She diligently performed in tea rooms, events in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Da Lat... She was determined to invest in her own products so that the audience would no longer mention her as just a cover phenomenon or a tea room singer. Ha Nhi of the present has shaped her own color, handling song techniques more delicately, especially in vibrato and sustaining notes.
Ha Nhi is well received by the audience because listeners now increasingly appreciate live singing and live performances. Her success is considered quite late compared to her colleagues, but she is not impatient but tries to live her passion for singing every day, making efforts step by step to assert herself.
