Pursuant to Official Dispatch No. 1402/CD-BVHTTDL dated April 3, 2025 of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on suspending entertainment activities during the days of national mourning for Comrade Khamtay Siphandone, former Chairman of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, former President, former Prime Minister, former Deputy Prime Minister, former Minister of National Defense of the Lao People's Democratic Republic.

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Tay Ninh province requested the provincial departments, branches, and People's Committees of districts, towns, and cities to fly flags at half-mast during the two days of National Mourning ( from 7:00 a.m. on April 4, 2025 to the end of April 5, 2025 ).

Stop or postpone cultural and artistic activities, sports competitions and entertainment activities during the 2 days of National Mourning.

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will guide and inspect organizations, individuals, and entertainment establishments in stopping or postponing the organization of art programs, sports competitions, and other entertainment activities in accordance with the direction of the provincial leaders.
