Vietnam Post honors 10 outstanding Youth Union Secretaries

On March 25, 2024, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCYU) of Vietnam Post Corporation held a ceremony to celebrate the 93rd anniversary of the founding of the Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2024) and honor 10 outstanding Youth Union Secretaries in 2023.

In 2023, the Youth Union and youth movement of Vietnam Post achieved positive results and left a clear mark with innovative, focused and widespread activities throughout the network. Promoting the pioneering and pioneering role of the youth, the Youth Union activities of the Corporation have linked production and business activities with many specific programs such as: signing a Cooperation Agreement between Vietnam Post and the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union; organizing sales activities, training sales force in the 150-day campaign; launching new participants in voluntary social insurance, family health insurance; regularly organizing activities to support people in performing online public services... During the year, social security and volunteer activities for community life were also maintained and implemented regularly by the Youth Union of Vietnam Post through many practical activities with a total value of over 12.5 billion VND.

Speaking at the ceremony, General Director of Vietnam Post Corporation Chu Quang Hao emphasized that the young generation of Vietnam Post takes the 10 golden words of the traditional Postal industry "Loyalty - Courage - Dedication - Creativity - Compassion" as a "compass" to guide the way, promoting the spirit of enthusiasm and readiness to take the lead in organizing Youth Union activities associated with the political tasks, production and business tasks of the Corporation and the entire network, creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere with youthfulness, health and enthusiasm. There have been many outstanding young faces who have become bright spots of the network in all aspects from awareness, political ideology, ethics to professional capacity. Comrade Chu Quang Hao expects that the young force of Vietnam Post will be the leading force in proposing solutions and initiatives to face the constant changes as well as the fierce competition of the Postal and Delivery market, contributing young strength to build Vietnam Post firmly through challenges and development.

At the ceremony, the For the Young Generation Medal was presented by the representative of the Central Youth Union Standing Committee to the following comrades: Chu Quang Hao - Deputy Secretary in charge of the Party Committee of the Corporation, General Director of Vietnam Post Corporation; Nguyen Hung Son - Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Vietnam Post Corporation; Tran Anh Tuan - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy General Director of the Postal Express Delivery Corporation.

During the program, the Corporation also honored 10 outstanding Provincial and Municipal Postal Union Secretaries in 2023. These are union officials who have had many initiatives to link union activities with professional work, successfully completed assigned tasks, contributed to the overall results of the unit and the entire network, and were recognized and rewarded in the past year./.
